FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
Financial statements must conform to Canadian Generally Accepted Accounting
Principles. These are codified in the Handbook of The Canadian
Institute of Chartered Accountants. We keep up to date
with the Handbook to ensure that your financial reports 1) comply with GAAP and
2) fairly reflect your financial position and results of operations.
We review your financial statements with you in the context of compliance
filings and in the context of key reports you want as management information.
KEY MANAGING
REPORTS
We work with you to compare, in terms of content and timing,
the information your accounting system is providing you with, to the information
you want - to manage your business. If what your getting isn't the same as what
you want - we will assist in developing information architecture and retrieval
methods.
FINANCIAL PROJECTIONS
Business often require "what if" scenarios based upon such
things as: growth, demand changes, product mix or new products, financing plans,
marketing initiatives - or any combination thereof. We will work with you to
provide the analytical information you need to make decisions.
INTERNAL
CONTROL
We
will review your operations, systems and procedures for accounting controls with
the principle focus upon protection of assets. We will provide a formal report
and review our recommendations with you.
GENERAL LEDGER,
RECORDS AND BOOK CENTERED WORK
Concise and accurate bookkeeping is the foundation of representative financial
statements. We provide these services to maintain your business records so that
your results and financial position are timely and accurate.
